The US Constition, Article III, Section 3, defines, "Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying war against them, or in adhering to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort."
If the US government is supplying money to a regime which they *know* is forwarding some of it on to a group which the USA is at war with, then we appear to have a whistleblower who has provided proof of treason at the highest levels.
That tax money has supplied the people who have used it to kill US troops.
Against which, we see vague claims that people might have died as a result of the release of the information, but with no actual evidence of this and despite the wikileaks folks and the journalists both working hard to redact any information that might lead to such an outcome.
No wonder there's so much sound and fury, trying to misdirect away from the actual people killed as a result of actual treason.
